Owning a pet leaves you vulnerable to grief when they inevitably have to go to a better place. We all hope we could hold or little kitties forever, but alas, time if a cruel mistress. Saying goodbye to your pet is so difficult, but you are not alone.
One reddit user shared her story of her last moments with his cat, Andrew. Andrew understood that it was his time to go, and held his human’s hands as they took their last car ride. The kitten had gotten old and sick over the last year living until 15 and a half years old. Andrew was a happy kitten, purring every day of his life. When he stopped, that’s when his family knew he was sick and tired. Andrew. The picture is truly devastatingly beautiful.

Many have reached out and given their condolences to the family. Such instances in life remind us how important it is to love wholly and remember the good times.  His family will miss Andrew, but they were better for knowing him. His last actions showed his family how much he loved him and that he knew he was loved by them.
Saying goodbye is never easy, but where there is life, there is also death. All we can do is to make sure to live it to the fullest and find someone or something to live.  Andrew was a special little fellow. It’s our guess that Heaven needed it’s furry little angel back.We too share our condolences with the family and hope they remember all the laughs and heartwarming moments they shared with Andrew.

If there is one thing you should take away from this story is that loving a pet will change your life for the better. Think about all of the kittens and dogs left out on the streets to freeze or starve. Think about adopting a furry companion today.
