Not many pets or humans have gone through what Sir Thomas Truheart endured in his young life. This kitty was living outside in California’s high desert in Antelope Valley. Kind people fed him through cans of food on porches, but eventually someone doused this cat’s head with acid.
Sir Thomas Trueheart’s face was badly scarred. He wandered around town for days until he came upon the people that fed him. These people took Sir Thomas Trueheart to a vet, but that vet said to give the kitty antibiotics and then suggested euthanization. Unfortunately, someone has been pouring acid on a lot of animals in this area, but no one has found the culprit as of yet.

Tommy had burns on half of his face, and he lost his right eye after vets removed it. Rather than give up on this poor kitty, the family got a second opinion. They took Tommy to Milo’s Sanctuary, a cat shelter that caters to special-needs cats.
