For years, little Regina Mayer wanted a horse. This girl, growing up on a small farm in Germany, had high hopes of getting a horse and training it to compete. Sadly, her parents refused, and her dreams were dashed. Or were they?
A cow named Luna came to Regina’s rescue. The intrepid little girl started walking Luna around the farm and the surrounding woods to get to know her. Luna was exceptionally well tempered and listened to Regina’s commands.
At fifteen, Mayer became the first cow whisperer. At first, Luna didn’t like to be ridden, but after some convincing, Regina was able to tame the bovine. In fact, it took two years of constant attention before Luna became the horse Regina always wanted.
Now, both Luna and Regina are masters, jumping over obstacles and riding around the farm. It may have taken some dedication, but Regina got her wish. So to speak.
