If you’ve never heard of horse dressage, we cannot blame you. This quite popular sport is enjoyed across the pond, and it features beautiful horses doing things you never thought possible.
As with all sports, dressage has a championship, and one equine, in particular, stole the show. The Danish horse Blue Hors Matine is world famous for his movements, all thanks to his trainer Andreas Helgstrand.
If you want to see Matine’s award winning routine, we have the clip below. Even if you’re not a fan of dressage, you have to admit, this is pretty amazing stuff. In fact, the judges seem blown away by every part of the performance.
The most memorable part of the show was when Matine started dancing to “Lady Marmalade.” It’s hard to imagine how many hours went into training, but it really seems like Matine loves every minute of it. Regardless, he’s a much better dancer than most people we know.
Although the clip is a bit long, we suggest watching it all the way through. Matine and Helgstrand sure know how to do some high-quality dressage, and it’s no wonder that they took home first prize.
We tip our hats to you, good horse.
